How to think politics
Politics affects every person's life even if you don't do politics, it's the nature of it. A vast majority of population is involved in political affairs, atleast they have a opinion on it.
But what good does politics do?
Well it form concensus and sometimes bring good to the people at margins but mostly politics generally tend towards poles. Only on matters like national defence we can remain in centre ( that too is true for very few people ) otherwise it's always us vs them.
Always being objective is hard and almost no-one thinks objectively at all times. But a good framework would be to not pick any side.
Just appreciate good policies, considering long term benefits and skeptical of bad policies over long term. Long term filters the noise and everything becomes clear.
